Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of medical insurance experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to partner with Sales and Client Management to deliver timely quotations and proposals.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical insurance experience (brokers, carriers, TPAs, underwriting, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, client management and other partners
• Growth mindset and ability to develop self and others
• Experience with Excel and Salesforce is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on pricing and stop-loss strategies to Sales and Client Management teams
• Prepare quotations and financial deliverables for prospective and existing business
• Develop financial projections using Excel and Salesforce models
• Market and place stop-loss policies, negotiating terms based on data
• Collaborate with leaders across functions to assess impacts of custom requests
• Interpret operational data for fee development and financial analysis
• Present findings to customers, partners, and internal teams
• Convey Meritain products and services with strong business insights
• Assist in creating proposals targeting reduced total cost of care
• Maintain positive relationships with sales, client management and internal partners
