Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriter for Meritain Health, an independent subsidiary of CVS, to support pricing, stop-loss strategies and fee projections for a diversified book of business. This fully remote role collaborates with Sales, Client Management and internal partners to deliver accurate quotations and timely proposals.

You will utilize Excel and Salesforce for financial models and communicate complex concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders. 40-hour weeks with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of medical insurance experience in brokers, carriers, or TPAs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing and stop-loss guidance to Sales and Client Management.
• Prepare quotations, financial deliverables, and projections using Excel and Salesforce.
• Market and place stop-loss policies, negotiating terms based on claims data.
• Present findings to internal and external stakeholders and customers.
