Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting professional for Meritain Health, a CVS subsidiary. This fully remote role supports stop loss pricing, quotations, and financial analyses for Mid-Market and captive channels.

You will collaborate with Sales and Client Management to tailor proposals and control costs while delivering accurate financial projections. The position emphasizes analytical rigor, cross-functional teamwork, and deep knowledge of medical insurance products, with a comprehensive

Qualifications

1-2 years of applicable medical insurance experience (brokers, carriers, TPAs, underwriting, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance to Sales and Client Management on pricing and stop loss strategies.
Prepare and issue quotations and financial deliverables for prospects and existing business.
Prepare financial projections on prospects using Excel and Salesforce.
Market and place stop loss policies, negotiate terms based on claims data.
Collaborate with leaders across functions to assess impact of custom requests.
Manage and interpret operational data for fee development and financial analysis.
Present to internal/external customers and partners.
Demonstrate understanding of Meritain products and services.
