Job summary

CVS Health, through Meritain Health, offers a fully remote underwriting role focused on pricing, stop loss strategies, and client proposals across a diversified book of business. You will prepare quotations, projections, and financial deliverables while collaborating with Sales and Client Management teams to ensure timely, accurate pricing.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of medical insurance experience, excellent communication, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of medical insurance experience in roles like brokers, carriers, third-party administrators, or underwriting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing guidance and stop loss strategy consultation to Sales and Client Management teams.
• Prepare quotations and other financial deliverables for prospective and existing business while meeting department deadlines.
• Prepare financial projections on prospects using financial models in Excel and Salesforce.
• Market and place stop loss policies, negotiate terms based on claims data and cost avoidance efforts.
• Collaborate with leadership from key functional areas to understand impacts for custom requests.
• Present to internal/external customers, constituents, and business partners.
