CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting professional for Meritain Health, a CVS subsidiary. The fully remote role supports mid-market and captive/alternate channels, handling quotations, financial modeling, and client-facing proposals.

Expect collaboration with Sales and Client Management, with strong emphasis on data-driven pricing and stop loss strategy. The role requires 1–2 years in medical insurance, solid Excel and Salesforce skills, and a team-oriented, growth-minded approach.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of applicable medical insurance experience (brokers, carriers, TPAs, etc).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing guidance and consult on stop loss strategies.
• Prepare quotations and financial deliverables for prospective and existing business.
• Build financial projections using Excel and Salesforce.
• Market and place stop loss policies; negotiate terms based on data and cost avoidance.
• Collaborate with sales and client management on proposals and fee development.
• Explain rates/fees and underwriting policies to internal/external stakeholders.
