Job summary
Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer for Hardware in the United States. The role focuses on ongoing support for mainframe hardware, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will proactively maintain hardware, support migrations, perform hardware configuration, DASD/TAPE replication, and participate in Sev1/Sev2 incidents.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of related mainframe systems experience.
- Experience maintaining hardware and DASD/TAPE subsystems.
- Ability to diagnose hardware issues and resolve them promptly.
Responsibilities
- Maintain mainframe hardware and keep microcode up to date.
- Support client transitions/migrations.
- Perform hardware configuration work (IOGEN, IOCDS, IODF).
- Perform DASD/TAPE replication using current technologies.
- Assist with DR activities and Sev1/Sev2 incident handling.
- Create tools and processes to improve team productivity.
- Produce documentation and automation to support workload.
