Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Mainframe with 7+ years of experience to lead MQ-based messaging and Healthcare Claims processing on mainframe systems.

You will design, develop, test, and optimize solutions, mentor offshore teams, coordinate with onsite teams, and ensure compliance and performance across SIT/UAT and production deployments. Remote option applies with US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Experience with mainframe systems and healthcare claims processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience collaborating with onshore/offshore teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical solutions for Claims applications by transforming business requirements into scalable mainframe systems.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain mainframe Claims applications using CICS and MQ.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, project managers, and support teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to offshore team members and coordinate onsite-offshore activities.
• Serve as a key point of contact for technical issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with established coding standards and best practices.
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-implementation activities.
