Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe with 7+ years of MQ, CICS, and Healthcare Claims processing to lead design, development, and production support for MQ-based messaging and Claims applications.

The role requires coordinating with onsite and offshore teams, providing technical leadership, ensuring quality, and maintaining compliance across Development, Test, QA, and Production environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in MQ, mainframe technologies, and Healthcare Claims processing.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe design, development, and production support processes.
• Ability to mentor offshore teams and coordinate with onsite personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, support, and optimization of MQ-based messaging for Claims applications.
• Develop and maintain mainframe Claims applications using CICS and MQ.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, PMs, and support for successful project execution.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate onsite-offshore activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure coding standards and best practices.
