Forward Air Corporation is seeking a Senior Account Manager – Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) to lead and grow a portfolio of strategic customers. You will partner with executive contacts and internal teams to craft account plans, uncover growth opportunities, and ensure exceptional service delivery.

You will analyze performance data, drive quarterly business reviews, and influence cross-functional leaders to optimize revenue, retention, and profitability across complex logistics networks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transportation, logistics, account management, business development, or related customer-facing experience.
• Demonstrated success managing strategic customer relationships and executive-level discussions.
• Deep understanding of transportation, freight operations, pricing strategies, and logistics functions.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of strategic and complex transportation customers and serve as a trusted advisor to executive and operational stakeholders.
• Identify, pursue, and close new shipping opportunities within assigned accounts and target markets.
• Develop and execute strategic account growth plans aligned with customer supply chain initiatives and business objectives.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure service performance and resolution of complex challenges.
• Analyze customer spend, shipping patterns, network activity, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
