Job summary

Forward Air Corp. is seeking an Account Manager for Less-Than-Truckload (LTL). You will manage a portfolio of strategic customer accounts, acting as the primary contact and trusted advisor to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.

Travel as needed while supporting internal teams to ensure service excellence and profitable growth. Responsibilities include leading Quarterly Business Reviews, analyzing spend and patterns, and identifying new LTL opportunities within assigned

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 3+ years’experience in transportation or account management preferred.
• Deep understanding of LTL transportation and freight operations.
• Strong relationship management, analytical, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of strategic customer accounts.
• Serve as primary contact with cross-functional customer stakeholders.
• Align solutions with customer supply chain strategies.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and executive reviews.
• Partner with internal teams to improve account performance and retention.
• Support contract renewals and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain accurate account plans and pipeline in Salesforce.
