Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Learning Design Professional to partner with business leaders, SMEs, and Enterprise AI product managers to design scalable learning solutions that build technical AI capability and improve performance.

The role uses generative AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate design, content creation, assessment development, and learner support, with responsibilities spanning live/virtual facilitation and performance analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Learning and Performance, Adult Education or similar field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience designing and delivering learning solutions in a corporate environment, including e-learning modules and facilitated learning events.
3+ years of facilitating engaging in-person and virtual learning experiences using diverse instructional techniques in a corporate environment.
Experience designing learning solutions that support technical skill development, emerging technologies, digital transformation, AI capabilities, or related upskilling initiatives.
Proven ability to communicate learning approaches, recommendations, and outcomes to stakeholders across functional and leadership levels.
Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and manage learning projects effectively, including timelines, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation.
Track record of successful training design, development and implementation experience using various methods (e.g., facilitated, cohort, rotational programs, e-learning) and software (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar learning and content-authoring platforms)
Experience managing courses in Cornerstone on Demand or a similar LMS.

Responsibilities

Design and develop engaging, learner-centered experiences that drive technical skill development and performance
Conduct needs analyses and collaborate with stakeholders to identify capability and performance requirements
Partner with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into clear learning objectives and instructional materials, including storyboards, scripts, applied practice, assessments, performance support tools, digital learning experiences, and learner guides
Develop scalable learning assets and reusable content frameworks that support Enterprise AI initiatives
Ensure course materials remain accurate, current, and relevant as technologies and business needs evolve
Track and analyze learning effectiveness through learner feedback, assessment results, proficiency gains, behavior change indicators, and job performance improvements, and recommends enhancements based on findings
Provide guidance to facilitators and select appropriate learning technologies, collaborative tools, and delivery methods to support development and application
Create high-quality multimedia learning assets, including videos, simulations, e-learning courses, job aids, and performance support materials
Plan, organize, develop, and deliver curricula and programs to meet specific learning needs. This role may involve facilitating live and virtual sessions.
