Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Senior Learning Design Professional to partner with leaders and SMEs to design and develop AI-enabled learning solutions that strengthen technical capability and performance.

You will translate capability needs into measurable objectives, practice, and performance support for enterprise AI initiatives. The role leverages generative AI tools and instructional design best practices, with the VSP pay model and flexible hours aligned to business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Learning and Performance, Adult Education or similar field.
• 5+ years designing and delivering learning solutions in a corporate environment, including e-learning modules and facilitated learning events.
• 3+ years facilitating engaging in-person and virtual learning experiences using diverse instructional techniques.
• Experience designing learning solutions that support technical skill development, emerging technologies, digital transformation, AI capabilities, or related upskilling initiatives.
• Proven ability to communicate learning approaches, recommendations, and outcomes to stakeholders across functional and leadership levels.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and manage learning projects effectively, including timelines, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation.
• Track record of training design, development and implementation using methods and software (Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe CC) and LMS like Cornerstone.
• Experience with LMS management (Cornerstone on Demand or similar).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging, learner-centered experiences that drive technical skill development and performance
• Conduct needs analyses and collaborate with stakeholders to identify capability and performance requirements
• Partner with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into clear learning objectives and instructional materials, including storyboards, scripts, applied practice, assessments, performance support tools, digital learning experiences, and learner guides
• Develop scalable learning assets and reusable content frameworks that support Enterprise AI initiatives
• Ensure course materials remain accurate, current, and relevant as technologies and business needs evolve
• Track and analyze learning effectiveness through learner feedback, assessment results, proficiency gains, behavior change indicators, and job performance improvements, and recommends enhancements based on findings
• Provide guidance to facilitators and select appropriate learning technologies, collaborative tools, and delivery methods to support development and application
• Create high-quality multimedia learning assets, including videos, simulations, e-learning courses, job aids, and performance support materials
• Plan, organize, develop, and deliver curricula and programs to meet specific learning needs. This role may involve facilitating live and virtual sessions.
