Cribl is seeking a Sr Information Systems Engineer to own Cribl’s core IT systems—identity, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and automation. You will partner with Security, Enterprise Applications, and People teams to design and run services at scale, including Okta, AWS, ServiceNow, MDM, and a growing stack of SaaS integrations and AI-powered workflows.

You’ll build joiner/mover/leaver automations, harden endpoint baselines, and govern the next generation of MCP tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate IT roles with responsibility for systems administration across identity, SaaS, and/or infrastructure in a cloud-first environment.
• AWS (IAM, VPCs, EC2/ECS or similar) administration for internal IT or SaaS platforms.
• ServiceNow administration: catalog, workflows, change/incident processes, basic reporting.
• Enterprise identity provider experience: Okta strongly preferred; Azure AD/Entra ID acceptable.
• Endpoint management ownership for macOS and Windows via MDM (Jamf/Intune).
• Scripting and automation: Python/PowerShell/Bash; REST APIs and JSON.
• Remote-first operator with autonomous work style.

Responsibilities

• Own administration of Cribl’s core identity, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and IT automation to ensure reliability and security.
• Manage AWS accounts for corporate IT, VPN, and supporting infrastructure with secure networking, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Oversee endpoint management (macOS/Windows) via MDM, including zero-touch provisioning, patch management, and security baselines.
• Serve as ServiceNow administrator for IT & Security: data model, catalog, workflows, SLAs, integrations.
• Design and maintain automation workflows across IT systems (Okta Workflows, Zapier, APIs) and oversee SaaS integrations (Okta, ServiceNow, Google Workspace, Slack, Azure/AWS).
• Govern AI tools and MCP-based agent frameworks in partnership with IT and Security; ensure safe usage and proper access controls.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation for incidents, participate in IT on-call, contribute to metrics and knowledge base content.
