Job summary

Cribl, a remote-first data observability company, seeks a Sr Information Systems Engineer to own Cribl's core IT systems—identity, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and automation—ensuring reliability, security, and scale. You will partner with Security, Enterprise Applications, and People teams to run essential services and automation at scale.

You’ll manage joiner/mover/leaver automations, AWS accounts, and endpoint baselines while governing ServiceNow and AI tool integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate IT roles with responsibility for systems across identity, SaaS, and cloud in a cloud-first environment.
• Hands-on AWS administration (IAM, VPCs, EC2/ECS) supporting internal IT or SaaS platforms.
• Hands-on ServiceNow administration including workflows, catalog items, changes, and reporting.
• Direct production experience with an enterprise identity provider (Okta preferred; Azure AD/Entra ID acceptable).
• Ownership of macOS/Windows endpoint management with baseline configs and patching.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own Cribl's core IT systems – identity, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and automation; keep them healthy, secure, and scalable.
• Administer AWS accounts for corporate IT and infrastructure, with secure networking, logging, and monitoring.
• Own endpoint management for macOS and Windows via MDM (Jamf, Intune) including zero-touch provisioning and baseline security.
• Serve as primary ServiceNow administrator for IT & Security, including data model, catalog, workflows, SLAs, and integrations.
• Design and maintain automation workflows across IT systems (Okta Workflows, Serval, Zapier, PowerShell/Python) and manage SaaS integrations.
• Evaluate, configure, and govern AI tools and MCP-based agent frameworks with IT and Security.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation for incidents, contribute to on-call rotation, and maintain IT metrics and knowledge base.
