GovCIO is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to support mission-critical infrastructure modernization programs for the U.S. Coast Guard.

The role is fully remote and will serve as a technical leader within the PMO, driving multiple enterprise network tech refreshes, OOB management deployments, and legacy VSAT transitions across USCG sites. The ideal candidate has 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, PMP or equivalent federal PM certification, and strong communication with executive

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 12+ years of experience.
• PM certification: PMP or equivalent.
• Experience managing large-scale federal contracts or DoD/DHS/USCG deployments.
• Experience deploying OOB management architectures for remote networks.
• Strong communication with executive stakeholders.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Excel for scheduling and tracking.

Mansioni

• Lead and execute multiple parallel IT infrastructure projects from initiation through closure.
• Define scope, build WBS, maintain schedules, manage critical paths.
• Identify risks early and develop contingency plans to minimize downtime.
• Serve as point of contact for USCG leadership and vendors; ensure SLAs and regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets, expenditures, and procurement workflows for global hardware and services.
• Coordinate tasks of network engineers, technicians, and security teams across locations.
• Quality-check deliverables, engineering docs, change tickets, and MSRs.
• Drive efficiencies by applying best PM practices aligned with USCG and federal standards.
