GovCIO seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT infrastructure modernization programs for the U.S. Coast Guard. You will drive network hardware refreshes, Out-of-Band management deployments, and legacy VSAT transitions across USCG sites in a fully remote role.

Applicants should hold a PMP or equivalent federal PM certification and have DoD/USCG project experience, with strong MS Project/Excel skills for reporting to senior leaders.

Formación

• PMP or equivalent federal PM certification.
• Experience managing large federal contracts or DoD/USCG IT deployments.
• Experience deploying Out-of-Band (OOB) management architectures for remote networks.
• Knowledge of satellite communications and legacy VSAT transitions.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executives and government stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Project and Excel for scheduling and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate multiple parallel IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, build WBS, manage schedules, and monitor critical paths.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans to minimize downtime.
• Serve as main liaison with USCG leadership, engineers, and vendors.
• Manage budgets, expenditures, and procurement workflows for global network hardware.
• Coordinate allocation of engineers, technicians, site readiness, and security teams.
• Quality-check deliverables, engineering docs, change tickets, and MSRs.
• Implement IT PMO best practices aligned with federal architecture standards.
