Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to drive complex IT infrastructure modernization for the U.S. Coast Guard. The role is fully remote and requires PMP certification, federal program experience, and strong leadership in enterprise network projects.

You will plan, execute, and monitor multiple concurrent projects, coordinating with stakeholders, vendors, and field teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with government standards.

Qualifications

• PMI-PMP or federal PM certification is required.
• Experience managing large federal contracts or enterprise IT deployments.
• Proven track record with OOB management architectures and satellite comms.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of multiple IT infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with USCG stakeholders, engineers, site teams and vendors.
• Manage budgets, schedules, risks, and procurement workflows.
• Ensure SLAs and military regulations are met throughout projects.
• Prepare engineering docs, change tickets, and MSRs for governance.
