Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex USCG IT infrastructure modernization programs in a fully remote capacity. The role requires coordinating with USCG stakeholders, cross‑functional teams, and vendors to ensure on‑time, within‑budget delivery of network refreshes and OOB management deployments.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years in IT project management, PMP or equivalent federal certification, and experience with DoD/USCG environments, OOB architectures, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in IT project management.
• Experience managing large federal contracts or DoD/USCG environments.
• Proven PM leadership for enterprise network modernization projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple parallel IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, WBS, schedules, and critical path management.
• Identify and mitigate risks with contingency plans.
• Coordinate with USCG leadership, engineers, and vendors.
• Manage budgets, expenditures, and procurement workflows.
• Ensure deliverables and MSRs meet standards.
