Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead mission-critical IT infrastructure modernization programs for the U.S. Coast Guard.

This fully remote role involves driving large-scale network refreshes, OOB management deployments, and VSAT transitions across USCG sites, with close collaboration to government leadership and vendors. Required are 12+ years of federal project management experience, PMP or equivalent certification, and strong skills in MS Project and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience.
• PM certification (PMP or equivalent) required.
• Experience managing large federal contracts or DoD/USCG IT deployments.
• Experience deploying OOB management architectures and legacy VSAT upgrades.
• Excellent communication with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects for USCG.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, engineers, field techs, and vendors to minimize operational disruption.
• Manage scopes, schedules, budgets, risks, and procurement workflows.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, timelines, and federal regulations.
• Oversee project deliverables, documentation, and status reporting.
