Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure modernization programs for the U.S. Coast Guard.

This remote role requires coordinating with stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors to deliver network hardware refreshes and OOB management deployments with federal regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has 12+ years of project management experience, PMP or equivalent certification, and strong communication skills for executive-level briefings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 12+ years of experience.
• PMP or equivalent federal PM certification required.
• Experience managing large federal contracts or DoD/USCG deployments.
• Experience deploying OOB management architectures for remote networks.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive briefings.
• Proficient with PMO tools and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure for USCG programs.
• Define scope, WBS, schedules, and critical paths; manage risks and contingencies.
• Ensure SLAs, timelines, and regulatory compliance; coordinate with vendors.
• Manage budgets, expenditures, forecasts, and procurement workflows.
• Coordinate engineers, field technicians, site readiness, and security teams.
• Review deliverables, docs, change tickets, and MSRs for quality.
