Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to drive enterprise network tech refreshes and OOB deployments for the US Coast Guard in a fully remote role. You will lead multi-project planning, manage budgets, and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure mission success.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with 12+ years in program management, PMP or equivalent federal PM certification, and experience with OOB architectures and satellite communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 12+ years of experience.
• PMP or equivalent federal PM certification.
• Experience managing large-scale federal contracts or DoD/USCG deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects for USCG.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, engineers, technicians, and vendors to minimize operational disruption.
• Define scope, build WBS, master schedules, and manage critical paths.
• Identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans for cutovers.
• Serve as primary contact for leadership and vendors, ensuring SLAs and timelines.
• Manage budgets, forecast requirements, and procure hardware/connectivity services.
• Allocate tasks to engineers, technicians, site readiness coordinators, and security teams.
• Quality-check all deliverables, docs, change tickets, and status reports.
