Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under supervision of an Account Manager or Producer. The role focuses on renewals, policy actions, and client communications across commercial lines.

Remote work is available within specified time zones, with occasional on-site requirements per policy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, and related documents.
• Assist in new and renewal submissions, analyze losses, and prepare proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
