Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines. The role provides administrative and customer service support to the account team under supervision, ensuring renewals and coverage accuracy while safeguarding against errors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of support staff and account personnel.
• Track policy expirations and renewals for existing clients to ensure timely processing.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks.
• Support new and renewal business: research, underwriting information, proposals, binding coverage, and follow-up for issuance.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms ensuring data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests and needs.
• Demonstrate IOA values and professional integrity.
