Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team. You will work under guidance to ensure production and quality standards while safeguarding against errors and omissions.

Responsibilities include renewals, endorsements, client research, proposals, and contract review, with emphasis on service excellence and proactive issue resolution across a remote work model.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients; ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related items.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting information, proposals, bind coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service, anticipate needs, and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve individual and team performance.
