Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to design HV overhead and underground transmission systems ranging from 46kV to 345kV on a 100% remote basis with regular client site visits in Michigan. You will apply standards, prepare bidding and construction documents, and work within a Leidos team to meet project goals.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least four years of experience in electric utility transmission design, with strong communication and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and minimum of four (4) years of prior relevant experience in the design of electric utility transmission systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of overhead systems, voltage conversion projects, new capacity projects, and infrastructure replacement projects.
