Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to design HV overhead and underground transmission systems ranging from 46kV to 345kV on a 100% remote basis with regular client site visits in Michigan. You will apply standards, prepare bidding and construction documents, and work within a Leidos team to meet project goals.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least four years of experience in electric utility transmission design, with strong communication and collaboration

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and minimum of four (4) years of prior relevant experience in the design of electric utility transmission systems.

Responsibilities

Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of overhead systems, voltage conversion projects, new capacity projects, and infrastructure replacement projects.
