Leidos is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on electric transmission projects for major utilities. The candidate will design HV and EHV overhead and underground systems, applying NESC and ASCE standards, and will prepare bids, plans, and procurement documents.

The role requires leadership, client interaction, and the ability to work remotely with potential travel. Michigan residents are preferred for this 100% remote position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum five years of experience in design of electric utility transmission systems.
• Knowledge of NESC, ACI, AISC and ASCE code requirements; construction specifications; material procurement; project schedules.

Responsabilités

• Design electric transmission line projects for HV and EHV overhead and underground systems.
• Prepare bidding documents, plans and specifications; material procurement and construction documents.
• Interface with clients, project planning, environmental, permitting and construction management personnel.
