Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst for a fully remote role. The position focuses on transforming vendor data specifications into detailed data mappings aligned with Enterprise Data Platform structures and business rules.

You will liaise across business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure accurate data integration, validation, and delivery within the analytics ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field.
• 3+ years of data analysis, mapping, ETL, or data warehousing experience.
• Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, Databricks.
• Experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Ability to interpret source system documentation, file specifications, data dictionaries and requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and documentation/collaboration tools like SharePoint or Confluence.
• Experience solving business problems with data.
• Experience supporting QA, UAT, production implementation, and post-deployment validation.
• Experience working with healthcare, payer, claims, enrollment, provider, or other regulated data domains.
