Job summary

Sentara Health is hiring a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to transform vendor file specifications into detailed data mappings for the Enterprise Data Platform. You will liaise among business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure data is integrated, validated, and delivered across the enterprise analytics ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in analytics or a related field and advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, and Databricks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in analytics, statistics, informatics, business, public health, or related field.
• Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, data validation, Databricks.
• Experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Ability to interpret source system documentation, file specifications, data dictionaries and requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and documentation or collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Looking for someone with experience solving business problems with data.
• Experience supporting QA, UAT, production implementation, and post-deployment validation activities.
• Experience working with healthcare, payer, claims, enrollment, provider, or other regulated data domains.

Responsibilities

• Develop source-to-target mapping documentation and technical specifications.
• Translate vendor file specifications into data mappings for the Enterprise Data Platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Support QA, UAT, production implementation, and post-deployment validation.
• Support data quality and data stewardship within enterprise analytics ecosystem.
