Job summary

Paychex is recruiting for a remote senior sales role focused on growing our client base for Core Sales, HR services, and Major Market segments. You will identify customer needs, present Paychex solutions, and manage end‑to‑end sales cycles with mid‑size and larger businesses across the United States.

The role requires 7 years of professional sales experience, 5 years in HCM, and a valid driver’s license. This is a full‑time remote position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma - Required.
• Bachelor’s Degree - Preferred.
• 7 years of experience in relevant professional sales.
• 5 years of experience in HCM industry.
• Experience carrying a sales quota.
• CORE HCM provider experience.
• Experience working with mid-size businesses or larger.
• Driver’s License - Required.
• This is a virtual/remote role. Must be ok with being remote 100%.

Responsibilities

• Sell Paychex products/services by developing new clients and expanding the client base.
• Leverage go-to-market strategy to identify needs and present solutions to stakeholders.
• Schedule appointments, visit referral sources, and secure referrals.
• Prospect for new clients via calls, mail, seminars, and events.
• Analyze customer needs and refer to appropriate products.
• Submit accurate new business paperwork and reports on time.
• Expedite resolution of customer problems or complaints.
• Represent the company positively to clients and communities.
• Travel outside territory for conferences, training, or meetings.
