Job summary

Paychex is reimagining workforce management by combining payroll, HR, benefits, and advisory services on a single HCM platform. This role focuses on selling to new clients and expanding the client base within Core Sales, HR Services Sales, or Major Market Sales, with travel outside the territory as needed.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in professional sales, 5+ years in HCM, and a track record of meeting quotas. Requires HS diploma and a valid driver's license; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7 years of professional sales experience.
• 5 years in HCM industry.
• Experience carrying a sales quota.
• CORE HCM provider experience.
• Experience selling to mid-size or larger businesses.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and present Paychex solutions to stakeholders.
• Schedule appointments and visit referrals to secure leads.
• Prospect new clients via phone, mail, events, and local programs.
• Analyze customer needs and direct to appropriate Paychex products.
• Complete new business paperwork and weekly activity reports on schedule.
• Resolve customer problems or complaints promptly.
• Project a professional image to clients and the community.
• Travel may be required for conferences and meetings.
