Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join the GRC Risk Management Systems team.

You will guide risk and governance program activities, develop user stories, lead UAT, and collaborate with IT and business teams to enable risk identification and management across the organization. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software lifecycle roles, proficiency in eGRC platforms, and strong analytical and communication skills to drive a data‑driven risk program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Management, Information Technology, or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience in software development and life-cycle activities including Design, QA, UAT, and Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the use of the GRC technology platform for risk and governance program activities.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify, understand and manage key organizational risks.
• Develop Features/User Stories and support QA review, lead UAT and regression activities, and release validation.
• Identify process improvements to support risk and governance programs.
• Maintain a well-groomed backlog and participate in Agile rituals as the voice of the business for GRC.
• Support backlog sequencing to drive product roadmap with stakeholders.
