Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join the GRC Risk Management Systems team. You will play a critical role in understanding and driving the organization's risk management goals within a data-driven decision framework.

We offer flexibility to work from home near one of our hubs or in an office. Occasional commuting or travel may be required for in-person engagements and team meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• 2+ years of advanced Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, and charts.
• 3+ years of Project Management experience.
• 3+ years of experience with eGRC platforms such as Archer, SAI360, ServiceNow, MetricStream, and Audit Board.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the GRC technology platform as the go-to tool for risk and governance activities and system of record.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to help departments identify, understand, and manage key organizational risks.
• Develop features/user stories and support QA review, UAT, regression testing, and release validation.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities in UX, design, and technical architectures to support risk programs.
• Maintain a groomed backlog, participate in Agile rituals, and serve as the voice of the business for GRC.
• Support backlog sequencing and drive a defined product roadmap with stakeholders.
• Assist day-to-day management and operation of Synchrony’s GRC Risk technology platform; collaborate with IT and business teams.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
