Synchrony is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join the GRC Risk Management Systems team. The role focuses on understanding and driving the organization’s risk management goals within a data-driven framework.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business Management, IT, or Finance) with 3+ years in software development/life-cycle management including design, QA, UAT, and project management.
• 3+ years of experience with operational risk management techniques including process flows, risks and controls assessment, testing and monitoring, and related metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• 2+ years of advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, Charts).
• 3+ years of Project Management experience.
• 3+ years of proficiency with eGRC platforms such as Archer, SAI360, ServiceNow, MetricStream, and AuditBoard.

Responsabilidades

• Advocate for the GRC technology platform as the optimal tool for risk and governance activities and system of record.
• Partner with stakeholders to help departments identify, understand, and manage key organizational risks holistically.
• Develop features/user stories and support QA review, lead UAT and regression testing, and release validation.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities to support risk and governance programs including UX and technical architecture considerations.
• Maintain a well-groomed backlog, participate in Agile rituals, and represent the business voice for GRC.
• Support backlog prioritization and alignment to the product roadmap with stakeholders.
• Support day-to-day management and operation of Synchrony’s GRC Risk technology platform; collaborate with IT and business teams.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
