Synchrony is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join the GRC Risk Management Systems team. You will help drive risk management goals and support data-driven decision making across the organization.

The role partners with multiple stakeholders to implement risk controls, validate requirements, and manage the product backlog. This position offers hybrid work options with occasional travel for engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 3+ years of software development/life-cycle management experience.
• 3+ years of experience with operational risk management techniques including process flows, risk and control identification/assessment, testing, monitoring, and related metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• 2+ years of experience with advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, Charts).
• 3+ years of Project Management experience.
• 3+ years or proficiency in eGRC platforms such as Archer, SAI360, ServiceNow, MetricStream, and Audit Board.

Responsabilités

• Advocate for use of the GRC technology platform as the default tool for risk and governance programs and system of record.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enable departments to identify, understand, and manage key organizational risks holistically.
• Develop features/user stories, support QA review, lead UAT and regression testing, and validate releases.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, UX, design, and technical architectures in support of risk and governance programs.
• Maintain a well-groomed backlog, participate in Agile rituals, and represent the business voice for GRC.
• Support backlog sequencing to drive the defined product roadmap with stakeholders.
