Job summary

Cotulla Education is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to support daily accounting operations, month-end close, and automation initiatives across multiple campuses. You will report to the Controller and help improve financial accuracy and scalable processes in a fast-growing educational organization.

The role requires 5+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with NetSuite and ramping up automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with in-house roles.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and report monthly financial data from multiple locations and campuses.
• Record journal entries and support month-end close and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with FP&A on budgeting and interdependencies of financial statements.
• Support audits and ensure internal controls are documented and effective.
