Zusammenfassung

Cotulla Education, including the Aviation Institute of Maintenance and Centura College, seeks a Senior General Ledger Accountant to strengthen our accounting team. You will support monthly close, consolidate data from multi-campus locations, and drive automation initiatives using NetSuite and Ramp.

You will partner with FP&A for budgeting, ensure GAAP compliance, and help prepare financial statements and audits in a fast-paced educational environment.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of overall progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of internal (in-house) accounting experience.
• Big 4 public accounting experience a plus.
• Strong command of US GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with RAMP highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven, compliance-oriented educational environment.

Aufgaben

• Assist in consolidating and reporting monthly financial data from multiple locations and campuses.
• Ensures accounting files and records are accurate and up to date.
• Record journal entries and support other month-end processes.
• Perform regular account reconciliations for transactions, reviewing balance sheet accounts, and identifying discrepancies.
