Job summary

JobSquad Solutions seeks a Senior Accountant to join our Tampa, FL team. This role supports the month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls in a growth-oriented company.

You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis, ensure GAAP compliance, and collaborate with senior leadership and investors.

Experience with NetSuite ERP and Excel is essential, with 5 years in accounting and a Bachelor's in a related field; CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with private equity or VC-backed exposure ideal.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjust entries.
• Ensure general ledger accuracy per U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Assist with internal/external financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Support audits, board/investor reporting, and lender requirements.
• Drive process improvements and automation within NetSuite.
• Participate in special projects like system upgrades or acquisitions.
