Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture or deeply technical fintech roles within US financial services.
• Proven track record leading complex architecture-driven fintech engagements end to end.
• Hands-on understanding of fintech platforms including mobile money, digital wallets, API design and management, microservices and cloud-based architectures.
• Fluency in payments fundamentals: transaction processing, security and encryption, data integration, scalability.
• Ability to move between deep technical work and framing business value for executives.
• Excellent technical writing, presentation, and RFP response skills.
• Collaborative, customer-first mindset with credibility across technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently in a US-based role while staying connected to a global engineering and product organization.
• An established network of potential customers and partners in the US fintech market is a strong advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process—from discovery to proposals and executive presentations.
• Act as the lead technical authority in customer engagements, mapping Ericsson capabilities to client needs.
• Architect tailored, scalable solutions spanning mobile money, wallets, payments, APIs, and inclusion use cases.
• Design integration architectures addressing security, compliance, scalability, and interoperability.
• Build compelling narratives linking deep technical capability to business value for engineers and executives.
• Produce high-quality technical proposals, blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Drive clean handovers to delivery with cross-functional teams.
• Track US fintech trends and feed insights back into solution strategy.
• Create reusable technical assets like reference architectures and demo environments.
• Mentor colleagues to grow presales depth and support partner-led engagements.
