Job summary

MVB Bank, Inc. in the United States seeks a Sr. Manager, Fintech Pricing Strategy & Economics to lead profitability modeling, pricing design, and economic analysis for the Fintech division.

You will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams within Finance and Business Development. You will build advanced Excel models, forecast unit economics, and guide pricing negotiations while supporting executive decisions and committee governance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related business discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to construct complex and advanced Excel models.
• Working knowledge of banking economics, including deposit pricing, earnings credit, and net interest margin.
• Familiarity with Banking as a Service (BaaS) and payments business models.
• Strong analytical, investigative, documentation, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Own Fintech profitability strategy, including methodology, thresholds and return requirements.
• Develop and maintain financial models and projections for client profitability.
• Prepare pricing recommendations for new Fintech clients across components.
• Lead Finance review and recommendation during client evaluation and present to committees.
• Communicate strategy and pricing requirements to Fintech team and renegotiate contracts.
• Evaluate ongoing profitability of the client portfolio and identify improvement actions.
• Collaborate with senior leaders onFintech strategy and liaison with external parties.
• Maintain profitability models, monthly reports, and rolling forecasts.
