Job summary

ABB US is seeking a Field Service professional to perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical power equipment, with remote work options and North Dakota-based applicants preferred.

You'll identify operational improvements, support the certification of technicians, and drive customer satisfaction while adhering to ABB safety and quality guidelines. The role offers a base salary range of $68,600 to $109,760 per year.

Qualifications

• Advanced level ability to interact and communicate information to varying levels in the organization.
• Experience servicing critical power equipment.
• Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and own the job until completion.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with customers to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Perform field service tasks including on-site troubleshooting within certified areas.
• Execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and replacements.
• Coach technicians, supervise complex site activities, and train team members when needed.
• Prepare material lists and ensure quality standards and availability.
• Identify opportunities for product/quality improvements and communicate to management.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain safe work practices.
