Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division seeks a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician. The role is remote from a home office with daily travel to customer sites in the United States and occasional overnights; a company vehicle is provided.

You will perform emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to maximize uptime for UPS systems and power distribution solutions. The position requires 2+ years in power systems or electronics, a valid driver’s license, and

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Current, unrestricted driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Willingness to travel daily to customer sites with a company fleet vehicle.
• Must pass customer entrance requirements including background checks and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services and preventive maintenance.
• Be a key member of a world-class service organization.
• Work with 24-hour Customer, Technical and Factory Support.
• Receive hands-on learning at a leading training facility and field mentoring.
• Adhere to OSHA and NFPA 70E safety training and guidelines.
