Job summary
Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to support UPS and power systems from a home office with daily travel to customer sites around Richmond, VA. Qualifications
- Reads electrical schematics and applies troubleshooting methods.
- Experience with power systems and battery technologies.
- Proficient with electrical theory and circuit concepts.
- Follows company safety rules and PPE requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support including emergency repairs and preventive maintenance for UPS, batteries, and power distribution systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot power systems and electronic equipment; perform testing and repair.
- Maintain customer equipment with adherence to OSHA/NFPA 70E safety standards.
- Travel daily to customer sites; overnight stays when required; utilize company vehicle for nationwide travel.
