Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join a team of world-class service professionals. The position is remote from a home office with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays in the greater Lubbock, TX area.

A company vehicle is provided, and relocation assistance is available. The role involves on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services and preventive maintenance for UPS systems, batteries and power

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Regular driver with a valid, unrestricted license and clean MVR.
• Must undergo background checks and drug screenings as needed.
• Daily travel to customer sites using an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
• Willingness to provide support outside the immediate region for up to 3 weeks per quarter.
• Physically capable of tasks including lifting 50+ lbs and driving long distances.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for emergency repairs, startup services and preventive maintenance.
• Be a key member of a world-class service organization.
• Safety first: OSHA and NFPA 70E training and adherence to safety rules.
• Access robust internal support including 24-hour customer, technical and factory support.
• Participate in annual safety audits and compliance programs.
• Mentor and collaborate with field service technicians on-site.
