Job summary
Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team in the greater Minneapolis, MN area. The position is remote from a home office with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays; a company vehicle is provided.
You will perform on-site emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance for UPS systems and related equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
- A current, unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
- Must pass customer entrance requirements which may include background checks and drug screenings.
- Daily travel to customer sites using an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support with emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance.
- Be a key member of a world-class service organization.
- Receive training and PPE to ensure safety on the job; participate in safety audits and compliance programs.
- Support 24-hour Customer, Technical and Factory Support.
- Engage in hands-on learning and field mentoring at a leading training facility; complete OSHA and NFPA 70E safety training.
