Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join a remote team in the greater Manassas, VA area. This role requires daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays with a company-provided vehicle.

Responsibilities include on-site emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability of UPS systems and power distribution solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Willingness to travel domestically; daily site visits; 3 weeks per quarter.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support including emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites in the USA using an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
• Support customers with rapid response and diagnostic troubleshooting to maximize uptime.
