Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division in the Minneapolis area is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to provide on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services and preventative maintenance for UPS systems and power distribution equipment.

This remote-from-home position travels daily to customer sites with a company vehicle, laptop, tools, and safety gear, and offers training, career growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience including relevant coursework and internship experience.
• Must have a current, unrestricted driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements including background checks and drug screenings.
• Daily travel to customer sites using an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
• Provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for at least three weeks per quarter.
• Must perform physical tasks including lifting 50+ lbs., standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances.
