Job summary

Jobgether seeks a seasoned Subcontracting Manager to lead the full lifecycle of federal subcontracts across a DoD-focused portfolio. You will guide teaming, solicitations, evaluations, negotiations, awards, and closeouts while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal policies.

You will mentor subcontract staff, develop strategic plans, and collaborate with business development, operations, procurement, and finance to address risks, performance, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting practices.
• Experience managing subcontracts under prime federal contracts (DoD preferred).
• Experience supporting CPSR preparation, audits, and compliance.
• Proficiency with contract lifecycle management tools (iCertis, Coupa, Costpoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead teams in a matrixed organization and drive process improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and propose solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full subcontract lifecycle: teaming, solicitations, evaluation, negotiation, award, and closeout.
• Develop strategic subcontracting plans aligned with business objectives and DoD requirements.
• Provide guidance on subcontract administration and federal contracting requirements.
• Lead RFP/RFQ preparation, cost analyses, and award recommendations.
• Draft and administer subcontracts, NDAs, and teaming agreements.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal policies.
• Oversee subcontract administration activities and CPSR-related documentation.
• Advise on capture phases and subcontract content for proposals.
• Monitor performance, track schedules and deliverables, address risks.
