Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Federal Senior Subcontracts Manager to lead strategy, compliance, and performance across federal programs. You will oversee the full subcontract lifecycle from proposal through closeout and serve as a trusted advisor to BD, procurement, and finance teams.

You will manage a team of subcontract professionals, ensure FAR/DFARS compliance, and drive continuous improvement in subcontracting processes across a portfolio of complex government contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of federal subcontracting: Cost-Reimbursement, Firm-Fixed-Price, and T&M.
• Deep understanding of FAR/DFARS and subcontract flow-down provisions.
• Experience with CPSR, audits, and complex prime contracts.
• Proven leadership of subcontracting professionals in a matrixed org.

Responsibilities

• Lead full subcontract lifecycle from proposal through closeout.
• Develop strategic subcontracting plans aligned with program goals.
• Guide teams on subcontract administration and federal requirements.
• Manage RFP/RFQ prep, cost analyses, negotiation strategies.
• Draft and administer subcontracts, NDAs, and TA agreements.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal policies.
• Oversee subcontract administration, payments, warranties, and records.
• Support CPSR preparation and internal/external audits.
• Advise BD during capture and proposal phases.
• Monitor performance, analyze data, address risks with project teams.
• Utilize CLM/ERP tools (iCertis, Coupa, Costpoint) for awards and reporting.
• Mentor and develop subcontract specialists; promote best practices.
