Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking a strategic and hands-on Subcontracts Manager to lead our subcontracting function across DoD and federal civilian programs.

You will oversee end-to-end subcontract lifecycle, ensuring FAR/DFARS alignment, CPSR readiness, and scalable processes to support mission delivery and growth. The ideal candidate will bring 7–10 years in federal subcontracting, with 5+ years in leadership, and strong experience in risk mitigation, negotiations, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Contract Management, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in federal subcontracting or procurement, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and subcontracting compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting CPSR audits and audit readiness.
• Knowledge of small business subcontracting plans and ISR/SSR reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the subcontracting function across all business units (DoD and federal civilian programs).
• Oversee the full subcontract lifecycle: intake, solicitation, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.
• Ensure timely, compliant execution of subcontract actions in alignment with internal SLAs and priorities.
