Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Sr. Escrow Oversight Specialist to oversee escrow activities for loans with mortgage insurance, reconcile and pay premiums, and place escrow stops on refinancing loans.

This remote role requires experience with mortgage servicing systems and the ability to manage complex processes. The position offers pay between $22.00 and $25.00 per hour, with expected duties including regulatory-compliant tasks, data reporting, and vendor communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred but not required.
• 3–4 years of banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• Experience with mortgage loan servicing systems (FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, OnBase).
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and communicate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee escrow processes for loans with mortgage insurance.
• Reconcile and process mortgage insurance payments and escalations.
• Independently oversee loans with active mortgage insurance (FHA/MIP/USDA).
• Communicate with mortgage insurance vendors to obtain information and resolve issues.
• Prepare data points and reports for monthly business reviews.
• Escalate complex escrow issues to Team Lead and management.
